volunteer coach for the Young Men's Christian Association’s (YMCA) Youth
Soccer program. Brent D. Beckley spent one year as a volunteer
coach—from 2001 to 2002—showing fifth-grade girls and second-grade boys
how to reach their goals both on and off the soccer field. Brent took
the time to communicate with the young athletes and their parents to
make sure the students were having a positive experience.
After he graduated from the University of Montana, Beckley moved to Costa Rica, where he was a cofounder of Absolute Poker and Director of Client Services & Risk Management for Absolute Entertainment, S.A., ultimately building the company from scratch to a global giant with six multinational offices, 700 employees and $250M in gross annual revenue. He played a pivotal role in the $130M acquisition of a leading competitor and was responsible for the smooth integration of operations, technology platforms, risk management and customer processes. Brent also served as Director of Global Operation and E-Commerce for Blanca Games, where he headed multinational business operations for an online provider of casino games. He maximized efficiencies in transaction routing and payment processing for more than $1 billion in yearly sales volume. He designed and coordinated the development of the e-commerce platform that integrated more than 150 payment providers and optimized custom back-office functionality for more than eight million users. With a focus on customer satisfaction, Brent designed and implemented effective risk management tools and procedures to keep chargebacks, “friendly fraud” and transactional risk at a minimum, for more than 10 years. At Beckley & Company, the consulting firm Brent founded in 2011, he leads an expert team that develops strategies to help corporate clients optimize the systems and processes that cultivate and grow customer relationships. Brent helps corporate executive teams identify areas of erosion of customer loyalty, quantify cost impact, and devise and implement system adjustments to reduce costs, grow revenue, and increase profits.
